Ketu is the most powerful planet in Vedic Astrology. It is the planet of transformation and enlightenment. Enlightenment or liberation is the purpose of human life and hence Ketu is supreme. Ketu brings one out of the cycle of Karma and the cycle of rebirth. Ketu is transformation and the end of all things. While Jupiter represents dharma or religion ketu represents truth itself. Religion and truth are two different things.
